Studies on the plasticity of sound:
White noise

In this site specific setting, I explored the relationship of a composition with the physical space that contains it. For the CLASH Festival 2021, a corridor of speakers was created inside a metal structure that belonged to a grain factory.
Reacting to the space, the speakers are hanging from metal wires leading to a circled opening in the machine. The opening is also intervened with an array of speakers that create a 360º sound spatialization.

The music is a gradual transformation between welding sounds and white noise. The visitors walk through it at their own pace, perception changes gradually while moving from one speaker to the next one.

Plasticity of Sound:

A setting of n number of speakers organised in a space create a three dimensional sound image. Each of the speakers constantly plays a fragment of the composition in a loop. The listeners can walk freely moving as fast or slow as they want, deciding the length of the composition, becoming time themselves.
